We are a voluntary community organisation based in the North East of England dedicated to creating sporting, educational and training opportunities for disadvantaged individuals, low income groups, BME groups, homeless, asylum seekers, refuges and other individuals facing social isolation and exclusion also excluded groups such as young offenders, people at risk from drugs and crime and those caught up in gangs.
Our organisation delivers positive activities and support to the most disadvantaged young people, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights to prevent them from committing crime or becoming involved in anti social behaviour, gun or gang crime in the most deprived areas of Newcastle upon Tyne such as Benwell, Elswick, Byker and Walker.Provide an education programme work, which includes a number of programmes and certificates including the 'Community Sports Leaders Award', FA coaching certificates, employability skills and various other transferable skills.
Help to build sports life coaches who can deliver a multi-sports programme. The principles that made our football programme such a success will be used to promote sports such as cricket, basketball, swimming, martial arts and wrestling, as well as other health and fitness activities. The coaching sessions not only promote physical health but also can transform lives by building self-esteem and promoting sustained social inclusion, and gives participants both sports-based qualifications and employability skills. We are all about second chances, giving young people the incentive to build a life worth living.
